The general election in the Region in brief…

London

There are 73 constituencies in London – 45 are now held by Labour (up seven from 2010)

South East

Greens hold Brighton Pavilion
Labour holds Oxford East, Southampton Test, Slough
Labour loses Southampton Itchen
Labour gains Hove
(four seats as before)

East of England

Labour hold Luton South, Luton North
Labour gain Cambridge, Norwich South
(up two from 2010)
