Support the Sussex Five!

Dear comrades

Support the Sussex Five!
Students suspended from Sussex Uni for taking part in an occupation:
Rush messages of protest to the Vice Chancellor

Five students including our comrade Lewis Nielsen have been suspended from Sussex University after taking part in the occupation there.  The occupation was in support of the strike action taken by UCU, Unison and Unite members in HE on Tuesday and against privatization on campus. Students occupied for a week and then came out to join the picket lines on the strike day.

The five students have been targeted for their role in the occupation and for causing “persistent disruption of the University operation ”. Students were exercising their right to protest.  It is clear that the Vice Chancellor and Sussex Uni management want to intimidate students and prevent any further action.

Please rush messages of protest demanding the lifting of the suspension of the four students to the Vice Chancellor:
