Solidarity to Portsmouth Dockyard workers

"The Green Party Trade Union Group sends its solidarity to those Portsmouth Dockyard workers who are threatened with loosing their jobs. The Green Party  opposes the arms trade but we also support workers' rights  and advocate the construction of a new green infrastructure which minimises carbon emissions. This is something which would in involve job creation and can make use of the skills of workers currently being made redundant. Workers in all industries deserve better than to be treated as disposable factors of production."
